From the desk of Laurel Ann Nattress:
Happy autumn equinox dear readers. It’s time for all the fall feels—pumpkin lattes, fall leaves, and cozy-up reading.
In celebration, I present the best historical novels of the new season; a curated list of my favorites for fall 2024.
As always, I scoured the publisher’s sales catalogues and author’s newsletters, downloaded advance digital copies of dozens of books and whittled it down to the best of the best.
I was pleased to see that historical mystery was particularly strong this season, with historical fiction a close second. There are a variety of topics, styles, and just plan fabulousness to the sixteen novels on my list. Dive in and enjoy.
Up next in my land of the “best of” book lists will be my selection of holiday reading in October.
♥ Which books on the Best New Historical Novels of Fall 2024 list is a must read for you?
Happy reading, Laurel Ann

Hello, I am sorry to have not kept my promise to try and read some of the suggested readings for 2023; here I am at it again wanting to read for 2024 which is nearly done. Possibly; well, I may want to read the following:
THE COLONY CLUB: A NOVEL, by Shelley Noble
SPECTERS IN A GLASS HOUSE, by Jaime Jo Wright
THE AUTHOR’S GUIDE TO MURDER: A NOVEL, by Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig, & Karen White
——————-
That’s all for now as I’m keeping the list light. I’ll try to request them next time I’m at the library. The librarians always play with me, as it feels like the world is against me. It hasn’t been a good year for reading; my TBR pile has been neglected, and I’ve failed in many things this year. This includes the tea book, which was supposed to be a compilation of some of my tea blog, but I couldn’t find the funds to print it. Self-publishing is costly in many ways. Okay, happy autumn to all!
