What is a Virtual Book Tour?
Book tours are a promotional tool to help authors and publishers get the word out about their new titles. Here is a brief explanation of what we do, and who we work with: Austenprose PR.
What Does a Book Tour Host Do?
As part of the book tour host team, you would post a feature or review of the book on a scheduled date on your blog and or Instagram account, social media, and other online similar sites. Retail sites are an option as well, but are totally voluntary.

How Will I Know About New Tours?Â
Once you are accepted as a tour host, you will be sent email announcments listing new book tours that begin in about about 3 months. You can apply for any and all of the tours. Space is limited, and unfortunately an application is not a guarantee that you will be part of the tour. More details about the process are included in the email and application and you can always contact us directly if you have questions. Â
What Are the Perks of Being a Book Tour Host?
If you are an avid reader, there are several advantages of being a book tour host.
- Firstly, you will be an insider on hot new titles.
- Secondly, you will receive ARCs (advance readers copies) in digital, and print format (if they are available and you live in the US).
- Thirdly, you will become part of an active online community and learn about books that you might be interested in reading.Â
- And fourthly, you will be supporting the authors that you love to read.
