Do our favorite heroines change our lives? Mine did.
Read my contribution about Elizabeth Bennet on Heroine Love, author Erin Blakemore’s 18 day tribute in February to the literary heorine’s in our lives. Seventeen book bloggers and fellow authors have contributed posts each day about their favorite heroines and offered great giveaways. Follow the link and leave a comment on my post for a chance to win a beautiful hardcover copy of White’s edition of Pride and Prejudice. Good luck to all entrants.
Cheers,

I loved getting to know you better, Laurel Ann. I also enjoyed seeing your picture. Now I’ll picture your fair face when I read your posts. I’m a frequenter of my local Barnes and Noble and have sometimes fantasized about working there instead of dealing with my students. I think I might be constantly conflicted by putting books on the shelves when I’d want to find a corner to sit and read them!

Karen, working in a bookstore is like a candy store to a bibliophile. I must walk away from a book more than once a day. I just never tire of the constant stream of new books that arrive though. It’s exciting.
