Welcome readers. Today I am sharing a snippet from a letter written by Jane Austen in 1815 to her sister Casandra while Jane was residing with her brother Henry in London. These were heady times for Austen. Her novel Emma had been accepted for publication by John Murray, one of the most important and influential publishing houses in London.
