Austenprose Reviews:

Here at, we specialize in book and movie reviews of Jane Austen’s works, sequels, and spin-offs of her novels, characters, life and legacy, nonfiction and the Regency and Georgian eras.

The reviews are written by a team of dedicated Jane Austen and Regency-era enthusiasts on a volunteer basis. Books are offered to the members by the blog editor and chosen based on their interest. We reserve the right to accept or decline to review any book that is submitted.

Review Submission Details:

We accept free copies of books, movies, and Austen related products in exchange for an honest review. After reading and agreeing to our review policy, please contact us with the details about your product including title, author, publisher, release date, description, press release if available and a bio of the author/creator/writer. We accept print and digital copies of books.

In addition to posting the review on, it may be posted on other online retail websites such as Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Goodreads, Library Thing, The Jane Austen Centre Online Magazine or similar. The reviewer owns the copyright of the review and retains the right to decide where it will be additionally posted. You may use quotes from the review for publicity purposes, but please contact us for permission if you want to reprint large sections or the review in its entirety.

I stand behind the integrity and honesty of my review staff and their right to their opinion 100%. If it is not the opinion that you wished for, please remember that “one half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other.” It is only one opinion and will certainly not make or break your sales.
