  1. I would love to get this magazine but it’s just too expensive to have shipped to the US. I wish they would do a digital subscription. I would definitely get it then.

  2. I have saved up for this magazine for 2 years now. I haven’t ever regretted an issue. It is something that I look forward to arriving with great anticipation. It is expensive but they’ve done as many things as they can to reduce prices, including changing from a larger size magazine to the one they currently use. I’m just a school teacher married to a cop and we’re not rolling in the dough. I have found ways to sacrifice in order to get this magazine for 2 years and I’ll resubscribe in the spring. Think about it again. For any Janeite it is totally worth it.

    1. Oh Karen! You make it sound so wonderful and make me want this even more, but now that I am an out of work school teacher, I just can’t. Hopefully this lovely edition will become a back issue soon. I saw on the web page that they can be bought individually. I could afford at least one. (-;

      1. So sorry. I’m an employed elementary school teacher. That makes a difference. Put it on your wish to do list for a more economically secure future!

      2. You can order back issues from Jane Austen Books (www.janeaustenbooks.net), and if you subscribe through them it costs a few dollars less than paying the exchange rate for GBP.
